Zoe Carides update

Zoe Carides is certainly keeping busy lately. Following her contribution to the Short & Sweet theatre festival in Sydney, the woman known best to us as Pia Jones is now doing some directing.

She's in charge of a production of the Pulitzer-nominated play Love Letters by A.R. Gurney, currently on at the Factory Theatre in Sydney. The show's run is raising money and awareness for the Hope for Cambodian Children charity.

The Australian Stage Online website has more info and they're very complimentary about Zoe's work:

"Director Zoe Carides hasn't tampered: she's had the courage, intelligence and discernment to adopt a 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it' approach. If only more directors knew when to take a step back, rather than make an indelible stamp."
