'All My Friends...' airing at Canadian film festival

Sounds like Charlotte Gregg (Tracy O'Donnell) and Ryan Johnson's (Stavva Jones) movie All My Friends Are Leaving Brisbane is getting some attention in Canada.

The 2007 rom-com will be airing at the OzFlix Film Festival in Toronto this weekend.

For more info, see this news report (which names the film as one of the festival's gems), as well as this general info page.

Also see the film's Wikipedia page for details of the movie itself.

Out of the Blue fans have found the movie difficult to get hold of, but it is possible to buy the DVD online. UK buyers should make sure that their DVD players can play other regions first and also bear in mind that it'll cost around £18 when you include postage. Finally, when buying DVDs from other countries, there's always the possibility of being hit by extra customs charges.

Thankfully, watching Aidan Gillett (Daniel McManus) in Home and Away later this month won't be so complicated!

  1. There are a number of other "Out of the Blue" links to "All My Friends" - Damien Freeleagus, who plays one of the police officers, had a small role, and Renai Caruso, who plays Bec, helped the filmmakers audition the cast (she is from Brisbane). Also Stephen Vagg, who wrote the script for "All My Friends, wrote a number of episodes of OTTB.
